Join us for Cor on February 10!

We will be having Cor on Tuesday at 6:30pm in the St. Joseph church hall.       We will be watching a presentation from Acts XXIX’s Rescue Project.  Presented by Fr. John Riccardo, a priest in the Archdiocese of Detroit, the presentation is geared to showing how we can use story telling when proclaiming the Gospel.

From the Rescue Project website: “We passionately believe that the most urgent task is the compelling proclamation of the gospel, one that not only shares it in an attractive – and concentrated – way, but that also offers people a way of seeing reality, and of making sense of the world, history, and life that is vastly different from the story our modern culture tells.

Until this happens, the Christian faith is often experienced as a mere set of rules and disciplines, and simply going to Church isn’t likely to lead a person to embark on the great adventure that is following Jesus and continuing His mission of the rescuing of this world.

We don’t think most people have ever heard the gospel.”

It was announced by the KofC state leadership at our Diocesan meeting that they are working on a special KofC version of this program, which we may want to take a look at in the future.

Join us at Tuesday at 6:30!

Cor begins at 6:30p in the St. Joseph Hall.  Please join us! You do not need to be a Knight to attend; Cor is open to all men! Bring a friend!
